Order of Malta Regional Services Drogheda Ltd. t/a Malta Services Drogheda is a registered charity, Charity No: 20017026 and a company limited by guarantee not having share capital, Company No: 110224.

Malta Services Drogheda is committed to adopting the highest standards of Corporate Governance. We are currently implementing codes of best practice to ensure the highest level of transparency and accountability for our donors, funders, volunteers and other stakeholders whilst providing the best quality of service to our members.

We have signed up to the Governance Code which is a voluntary Governance Code for Irish charities. We are a Type C organisation and are currently on 'the adoption journey' to full compliance of the code. The purpose of the Governance Code is to promote high standards of governance and transparency within the voluntary and charitable sector. We are also fully committed to achieving the standards contained within the Statement of Guiding Principles for Fundraising developed by Irish Charities Tax Research Ltd. (ICTR) in response to the Charities Act 2009. The Statement exists to:

• Improve fundraising practice
• Promote high levels of accountability and transparency by organisations fundraising from the public
• Provide clarity and assurances to donors and prospective donors about the organisations they support
